What shipping methods do you offer?
We use the shipping methods offered by our shopping platform, Shopify. If these do not work for you, please contact us and we will try to figure something out.
How long will it take to ship my order?
I will try to ship your order out as quickly as possible. However, delays of up to 2-3 weeks may occasionally be possible due to personal commitments, as I do not currently employ any assistance in handling orders. If the timing of your order is important, please contact us in advance.
When will an out of stock design be available again?
This depends on the design and how big my backlog is. Some designs are quite time consuming to make by hand. Other designs may require ordering stock or castings, which may take several weeks.
Do you make everything yourself?
All our designs use some form of hand crafting or hand finishing by the artist. We do use prefabricated components such as chains, and we contract out our lost wax casting to a nearby small business. The process for creating each piece is described in the product page.
Can I buy your designs in person?
We may occasionally exhibit at craft shows in the New England area - sign up for our mailing list or follow us on instagram if you want to know when we will be selling in person.
What is your stance on the use of AI?
Lucent Forge does not use LLMs (large language models) or other forms of generative AI in the concepts, design, and production of our art. I have strong ethical concerns about the environmental and social impact of generative AI.
